Residence Features

8 Units Residence - 1 king bed

The studios are located just off the poolside, each with a direct private entrance. Even though located on a sublevel, the studios feature a small terrace and large windows, allowing plenty of daylight. All studios are furnished in a very modern design in earth colours and with distinguished fabrics. 55 sqm in size, the studios are spacious and feature a sitting area with a dining table and bamboo chairs as well as a queen-size bed and free minibar.

A fully equipped kitchenette, private bathroom (with shower only) and dressing area complete the facilities accordingly. The studio accommodates a maximum of 2 adults. An extra bed is possible.

7 Units Residence - 2 bedrooms

Two-bedroom apartment located in the Residence, with your choice of king, queen and/or twin beds. Spacious 100 sqm in size, contemporary design using earth colours and furnished with quality fabrics. The master bedroom features a bathroom with bathtub and shower, overlooking Aqaba City. Some with balcony.

The second bedroom has a bathroom with shower only, shared with the living room. A fully equipped kitchenette is connected to the living room, which also offers a balcony or terrace overlooking the old city of Ayla and the mountains, as well as the hotel pool. Room can accommodate a maximum of 4 adults. Extra bed is not possible.

7 Units Residence - 3 bedrooms

Three-bedroom apartment located in the Residence. Set on two floors and connected by an internal staircase, it is 185 sqm in size, contemporary in design using earth colours and quality fabrics. It includes a free minibar. One master bedroom with king-size bed, private bath and balcony overlooking Aqaba City and Eilat, with partial sea view.

The second bedroom offers king or queen size bed, overlooks the pool and shares the bathroom with the children bedroom containing two bunk beds. On the second floor is the spacious living room with private WC. Overlooking the old city of Ayla and the mountains, the living room features a cosy terrace with magnificent views of the Red Sea, the hotel pool and beach.

The apartment features a fully equipped kitchenette, connected to both the living room and the terrace. Room can accommodate a maximum of 6 adults. Extra bed is not possible.

Palm Court & Terrace	Located on the ground floor, the Palm Court Restaurant & Terrace is the hotel's all day dining, featuring a buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as a la carte. Different themes are introduced on daily and monthly basis; menus feature some of the classic Moevenpick Swiss dishes, such as Rosti and Veal Zurichoise.
Al Sufra Mediterranean Restaurant & Terrace	Fine Mediterranean dining, delightful dishes, originating from the sunny countries surrounding the Mediterranean, have been selected for this exciting dining venue. The splendid interior colours and designs, the beautiful covered terrace and table tops create a unique fine dining experience.
Abu Nawwas Fun Pub	This hotspot is a perfect location of live music, belly dancing, glamorous ambiance, and luscious cocktails.
Al Nafoura Bar & Terrace	Located at the resort's lobby. The bar is a perfect way to wind down with a cocktail and hors d'oeuvres before starting a remarkable night.
Al Shatt Restaurant & Terrace	Conveniently located off of our refreshing swimming pool, keeps you going under the hot Aqaba sun with its eclectic selection of light snacks and refreshing cool drinks.
Red Sea Grill	The al fresco Red Sea Grill is set up on a terrace that maintains the sights and colours of Aqaba and overlooks the splendid Red Sea and high rocky mountains of the city. Offering an impressive selection of grilled fresh fish and shellfish dishes, and Afro-Arab culinary creations, the restaurant is ideal for a romantic sunset dinner for two or a pleasant dinner with family and friends.
Bridge Café	An outdoor relaxing spot, has a great view over the historical city of Ayla and the hotel's poolside. A selection of varied snacks and variety flavours of hubbly bubbly.
Bakery Shop and Café	Located at the ground floor, accessible directly from the main street. An incredible selection of fine breads, pastries, cakes and other goodies and the fabulous Moevenpick ice cream. Opens from 8.00am to 11.00pm daily.

Though Aqaba has an endless array of activities, the resort offers additional facilities on its premises. These include our numerous fitness facilities to help keep you in top shape, as well as Jacuzzis installed at two locations, a sauna, and a whirlpool all available for ladies and gentlemen separately. The resort's four swimming pools are guaranteed to keep you cool in hot temperatures. Sindbad, our partner for water sport activities, lets you enjoy the unique beauty and colours of the Red Sea through excursions to nearby scuba diving and snorkelling locations as well as sunset cruises and glass-bottomed boat trips. Other fun activities include para-sailing, water skiing and jet skiing. And of course we have not forgotten about our younger guests. The resort's "DANA" Children activities centre to ensure a high spirited stay for all. Children can also benefit from the convenience of a separate pool. Swimming aids are provided upon request.
Health Club	Keeping fit and staying healthy does not have to be boring, especially at the gym, our fully fun functional fitness centre. With the latest cardiovascular and weight resistance machines as well as wide selection n of free weights, our fitness centre has everything you will need to help keep you in good shape during your stay. Sauna and Jacuzzi	Located under the Gymnasium, the Sauna and indoor Jacuzzi form a healthy treat for the weary traveller. Facilities are separate for men and women and feature changing rooms and showers as well.
Swimming Pools	With four swimming pools to choose from, there is no end to a day at the Moevenpick Resort & Residence Aqaba. Winter pool, a free form swimming pool popular with families on account of its proximity to the Dana Children Activities Centre, children pool and garden Jacuzzi. Heated during the cooler months of the year. (November to March). Summer pool, Located at the resort's pools area next to the beach and surrounded by a beautiful garden. If necessary heated for our guests enjoyment at all times. Bridge pool, also referred to as the lap pool as it is the ultimate exercise pool located on the bridge spanning the hotel and gardens. Enjoy quiet evening gazing at the stars while lounging around in the Jacuzzi (suitable for guests over 12 years old). Children pool, located next to Dana Children Activities Centre.
Beach	Our large private sandy beach with football and volleyball fields is the ideal place to soak up the sun and enjoy a well-deserved holiday. Water-skiing, Jet Ski, windsurfing, banana boat rides and sunset cruises, a variety of water activities are available through Sindbad, our water sports partner.
DANA Kids Club	The Dana Club is part of the Children Activities Centre, located next to the children and winter pools. The children Can enjoy various games and sports, drawing, painting, colouring and much more. All activities are fully supervised by our Kids Club Co-ordinator. Dana Club is dedicated to providing activities for children aged 3 to 12.

Conferences & Banquets

The Moevenpick Resort & Residence Aqaba meeting and conference facilities are designed to meet every need including functions, parties, meetings, seminars, lunches and dinners. In addition to the hotel's excellent dining facilities, beach and poolside theme nights are available.
Al Murjan	The Conference Centre, which has the Al Murjan and Al Remal Ballroom/Meeting Room faces the Palm Court Terrace in an imposing building with a large reception area. The Private Room is situated overlooking the Palm Court Terrace and next to the restaurant.
